The Skin of an Alternate Dimension - Statement
A body without a face is not a sign of an individual. It is a “surface” opened within real space, emerging as an anonymous dimension.
In this series, only fragments of the female body are captured, deliberately excluding the face to strip away narrative, emotion, and personality. What remains is a body, yet not a “person”—a spatial surface, skin itself.
Monochrome rejects meaning imposed by color, liberating the body from culture and temporal context. Composed solely of light and shadow, this surface is quietly inserted into reality as an untouchable dimension.
What is captured here is not someone’s body. It is a trace of a faceless dimension that suddenly emerged in real space.
