Artist Statement

My work is an act of inserting an “alternate dimension” as an artifact into physical space. This is not science fiction imagination, but an experiment in questioning the spatial structures and perceptual assumptions we take for granted in daily life.

Is a wall truly flat? Is space continuous? How far can we trust our vision?

The work is complete simply by being affixed to a wall. I do not alter the method of display because I intend for the physical space itself to function as part of the work. The alternate dimensions that appear as distortions, fluctuations, and fissures are completed through the viewer’s own bodily sensation.
